Bella Highland, Esq.

Ms. Highland is an associate attorney at Sellar Hazard & Lucia and is based in the Los Angeles office focusing on insurance defense with an emphasis on construction defect matters. Prior to joining Sellar Hazard & Lucia, Ms. Highland worked in the practice areas of personal injury, mass torts and contract law.

Ms. Highland is admitted to the California State Bar. She earned her Bachelor of Arts at University of California, Berkeley. She later received her Juris Doctor from Suffolk University Law School located in Boston, Massachusetts. Ms. Highland was in Boston during the 2013 Boston Marathon bombings and she saw the city, state, country and world come together in the face of terrorism.

 Prior to law school, Ms. Highland most notably worked at KPMG, LLP and The Metropolitan Museum of Art both located in New York City, New York. She also believes strongly in working as a legal advocate for underserved communities. She has given substantial amounts of her time and skills pro bono working with various government agencies and private firms.
