Jay Zeng

Jianxing “Jay” Zeng is an attorney admitted to the California State Bar (SBN 364740)
whose practice draws on strong writing, oral advocacy, and negotiation skills developed across
legal, business, and international settings. He earned his J.D. from Santa Clara University School
of Law in 2025, where he completed a High Tech Law Certificate with International
Specialization (with Honors), a Certificate in International Law Specialization in International
Business Law (with Honors), and a Certificate in Public Interest and Social Justice Law. His
academic distinctions include Witkin Awards in Contracts 2 and Legal Research & Writing 2, the
CALI Excellence for the Future Award in Property and International IP Law, and Dean’s List
recognition in each year of law school.

During law school, Jay represented a client before the United States Court of Appeals for
the Ninth Circuit in Lopez-Alvarenga v. Garland, drafting the opening and rebuttal briefs and
presenting oral argument under faculty supervision. This experience sharpened the brief-writing,
record analysis, and courtroom presentation skills he brings to litigation matters today. Before
law school, Jay was in the international trading business. His practical business experience
informs his approach to commercial and real estate disputes. He holds an M.S. in Engineering
Management from Northeastern University and a B.S. in Automation from Xi’an Jiaotong
University. Jay speaks both English and Mandarin and enjoys tennis and skiing outside of work.
