Alfonz Tiu

Alfonz Tiu is a Licensed California Attorney since 2021. He has experience in
real estate, tax and general business law matters.

Alfonz started out his legal career by volunteering at the Pro Bono Tax Clinic of
Golden Gate University School of Law. During his time at the Pro Bono Tax Clinic, he
helped clients who were levied a tax burden by the California Department of Tax and
Fee Administration properly assess and appeal their sales and use tax liabilities.
Alfonz brings a unique perspective in representing clients in business and real
estate legal matters since he grew up managing his parent’s health care and real estate
investment and development businesses as an in-house financial and legal officer.
Accordingly, he found himself working on transactional, administrative, and advisory
financial and legal work for five years. Specifically, he drafted and reviewed contracts
and lease agreements pertaining to the Real Estate Investment and Development,
Primary Care Clinics and Residential Care Homes industries. He now utilizes his skills
by litigating general business and real estate legal matters.

Alfonz also has California Basic Appraisal and Change in Ownership Tax
Certifications.
