Javid Laknahour

Javid Laknahour is an accomplished attorney with a multidisciplinary background and over a decade of legal experience. His legal education spans nearly ten years of advanced academic training, supported by numerous prestigious academic honors. He received a full tuition scholarship from the University of Colorado School of Law, the highest merit-based scholarship from the USC Gould School of Law, and a full
scholarship for his legal education abroad. He holds a Master’s Degree in Alternative Dispute Resolution and a Graduate Certificate in Business Law from USC Gould School of Law, as well as a Master of Laws (LL.M.) in U.S. Law from the University of Colorado School of Law, along with additional legal education in other countries. This extensive international legal education provides him with a distinctive, globally-informed perspective on both domestic and transnational legal systems.

Mr. Laknahour’s practice focuses on international arbitration, corporate law, and complex civil litigation. He has extensive experience representing clients in international arbitration proceedings, as well as in cross-border litigation and complex commercial disputes. Over the course of his career, he has successfully represented a broad range of clients, including Fortune 500 multinational corporations from Germany, South Korea, China, Switzerland, France, the United Kingdom, the United Arab Emirates, and Oman,
as well as private entities and emerging businesses. His strategic approach enables him to navigate high-stakes disputes across multiple jurisdictions with clarity, precision, and cultural fluency.

In addition to his legal practice, Mr. Laknahour has also served as a pro bono mediator in small claims courts, mediating disputes at the Santa Monica Courthouse and the Pasadena Courthouse. This work reflects his deep commitment to alternative dispute resolution and to making the legal process more accessible to the broader community.

Prior to entering the legal profession, Mr. Laknahour cultivated a rich background in the creative industries, having worked as a fine dining chef and a high-end fashion stylist—experiences that enhance his attention to detail, creative problem-solving, and client-centered perspective.

Mr. Laknahour is fluent in English, Persian, and Arabic, allowing him to serve a diverse international clientele and engage effectively across a wide range of cultural and legal contexts.
