A 2008 graduate of the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law, Justin joined Sellar Hazard & Lucia in May of 2021. His duties included the creation and review of loan documents, title documents, surveys, and subordination agreements in accordance with HUD requirements, communicating with all parties to ensure HUD approval, and attending the closings to finalize the transactions. He also has experience representing homeowners’ associations with the drafting, amendment and enforcement of governing documents, advising associations as to how to open common area facilities during the COVID-19 pandemic in compliance with state and local health orders, and representing association members when the governing documents were not adequately enforced.
A second-degree brown belt in Kenpo Karate, Justin also enjoys bowling, competitive trivia, and cheering on the Oakland Athletics, San Francisco 49ers, Golden State Warriors and San Jose Sharks.
