Corey M. Timpson earned her J.D. from Golden Gate University School of Law in May 2019. She received several academic achievement awards and graduated with Highest Honors, ranking within the top five percent of her class. She is also currently working towards a Dual L.L.M. at GGU in Estate Planning and Taxation with an expected completion date in May 2021. During law school, Ms. Timpson was a member of GGU’s Honors Lawyering Program and also worked as a Teaching Assistant for Torts and Civil Procedure as part of GGU’s Practice Intensive Course Program where she held weekly, mandatory classes for first-year students to facilitate their understanding of these subjects.
Ms. Timpson completed several internships throughout law school, including two judicial externships—one in the Presiding Judge’s Department at the San Francisco Superior Court and one in the Complex Litigation/Asbestos Presiding Judge’s Department at the Alameda County Superior Court.
Ms. Timpson grew up just outside of Los Angeles and attended UCLA for her undergraduate degree in Psychology. She moved to the Bay Area for law school in 2016.
